Typing Web

What's Typing Web?
Typing Web is an on-line typing and 10-key practice site that students can use whenever and wherever they have an Internet connection. This is the last of our six options today, because, although voice recognition software is getting very good, typing is going to be around for at least a little bit longer...

Typing Web has no-pay and low-pay versions. The no-pay version has some advertising, but it has not hindered the students.

Typing Web works best if the teacher sets up a "virtual classroom" (properly formatted class rosters can be uploaded for automatic creation of classes.

How does it work?
Here are some screenshots to help explain.

Set up classrooms...

 Organize students...

Track students' practice time, speed and accuracy...

 Track students' typing test scores...

Students can personalize their screens with fun "skins!"

Lots of trophies (as well as typing games)
to motivate students and provide friendly competition!

 Charts of student progress...

 Individualized analysis (problem keys, etc.)

 Results of students' typing tests...

Why not take a look around typing web yourself?
