Google Drive grew out of Google Docs, a place where you could create and store documents, spreadsheets, slide shows, drawings, etc. "in the cloud," without owning any more software than a browser.
Google Drive retains all of the Google Docs functionality and adds many more exciting features!
What's It Do?
What does it do?

Let's Try It Out with an Activity !
Real-Time Collaboration!
Modify a Slide Show with Everyone Else in the room at the Same Time! (Good for class projects, filling out schedules, potluck lists, etc.!)
Click on the following links to work on a couple of collaborative documents in real time. Because they're in the cloud, every keystroke or modification is saved continuously.
Google Drive also stores document histories in case you need to go back to an earlier version.
